Thankful.

Before the end of the year, I was blessed with the news that I would be able to work Monday through Thursday and have all Fridays off to be at home with my boy.  My boss is wonderful to allow me to do this and she will never know how grateful I am.  "God will give you the desires of your heart" and that HE did :)

Because I get that extra day home... I get to have moments like this...

And of course moments like this... because we ALL have them :)

Half a year.

6 months.  My baby boy is half a year old.  Half a year!  I sit back and think about being pregnant with him and then the excitement of knowing I was in labor and we were going to FINALLY meet him.  Then he was here and one week went by...one month...three months...and now I'm at that SIX month mark and I can't believe that in just another 6 months, I will be planning that baby boys 1st birthday!  It's almost too much for me to believe.  On one hand you are SO excited about all the new things they do... smile, roll over, sit up, laugh, crawl, walk... and then you miss those times they were so little and just slept in your arms and you want it back.  Haha, I guess that's why we want more babies! 

But none-the-less we are celebrating 6 wonderful months with Aiden.  Our biggest joy AND biggest challenge :) is all bottled up into 18lbs!

To commemorate a HALF A YEAR, Aunt Stephy took some wonderful photos of Aiden that capture everything that is HIM... of course none of them are him looking directly at the camera, but then that would have meant he COOPERATED and we all know Aiden doesn't do what we want when we want him to do it!
