Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy...

This is titled "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy..." for three reasons.

1) 3 months have already passed by since my last blog and of course LOTS of things have gone on since then... We were busy with LOTS OF SHOWERS! Wedding showers for my BF Nicole, a couple baby showers for two other friends and then my first baby shower at my Mom's house. Mom did SUCH a beautiful job with the help of my BF Lis, my sister and sister in law Alison. Everything of course was "beach themed" and I was just so overwhelmed and blessed by the generosity of all my friends and family... When I got home with all the things we got, Jason put together all the big items and now claims he is "Graco Certified" :) Below are some pics from the shower:

Cupcakes made by Cathi McClure... AMAZING :)

Next on the list was Nicole & Andrew's WEDDING!!! :) What a special day... I am so happy for Nicole and Andrew and was blessed to be a part of their wedding day! Nicole of course was KNOCK OUT GORGEOUS and Andrew didn't look too bad himself!

We also went to a place called Prenatal Impressions to get a 3D/4D ultrasound done of Aiden... It was SO amazing to see his adorable little face...We hadn't seen him since I was 18 weeks... We did this when I was just about 33 weeks... Can not wait to hold my little guy!

So yes.... This is the first "Oh Boy!" :)

2) Ok, so you know from the last blog that Stephanie and Marcio are pregnant... Well they decided they were going to see a mid-wife during her pregnancy and do a home birth. Well, the mid-wife will not do an ultrasound until 20 weeks... Us impatient former Watson girls don't like to wait, so Steph scheduled an appt. at Prenatal Impressions to find out the sex of the baby... Well to our surprise, its TWINS!!! Twin BOYS at that... What a shock, it took awhile for it to soak in, actually I think its still soaking in... I still can't believe it!!

So that was a BIG "Oh Boy! Oh Boy!"

3) Jason and I are in the home stretch before Aiden gets here... We had two more baby showers, one thrown by a sweet friend at church, Kari and the other thrown by my boss, Terri :) Again, we were overwhelmed with everyone's generosity... we have been so blessed and I can now say we have EVERYTHING possibly needed for our little man.

His room is complete, his bathroom is complete, I have washed all his clothes, blankets, towels, etc... I have his "station" set up downstairs (so I won't be going up and down all day long) and his bags are packed. All that's left is to get that car seat in the car, pack me and Jason's bag and then we are ALL set! I will be entering my 9th month on Monday and have a doctor appointment on the 9th to check to see if there is any progression, if he his head is down, etc... CAN'T WAIT! I can't believe this pregnancy is almost over... time has FLOWN by and as one friend said... "All you need now is your little surfer dude!" :)

Jeannie Albers did an AMAZING job on the mural... We are SO loving it!

Just another view... we have actually done more to the room, but these are the only pics I have at the moment.

So to wrap it all up... A LOT has gone on, we are near the end (36 weeks on Monday) and Mom & Dad went from ZERO grandchildren to THREE grandchildren (3 BOYS!) in a matter of seconds... So can you say "Oh BOY, oh BOY, oh BOY!!!"

SO much excitment!!!

I can't believe all that has gone on JUST THIS YEAR!!! So here is an update:

On February 3rd, Jason, my Mom, sister and I headed to Winnie Palmer Hospital to find out if "Baby Stelly" was really a "he" or "she"... First of all, most amazing ultrasound ever. To be able to see all parts of my baby and see the heart, brain, liver, kidney, stomach, lungs, etc... Its so amazing how God creates life! So... to the fine part... We discover its a BOY!! YAY! Excitement just flooded me with FINALLY knowing what was growing inside me. We could wait to start calling friends and family to let them know the news! ITS A BOY ITS A BOY!!!

My best friend of 10 years, Lis, had her baby shower in February... it was SUCH a fun time of celebration and to prepare Lis with the "things" she needed for little Gracie! My SISTER also found out in February that her and Marcio are PREGNANT!! WHAT? 2 babies in one year for the Watson, Stelly, Pacheco's... CRAZINESS! We are all so blessed and cant wait to celebrate the holiday's this year with 2 little ones. Steph and Marcio are about 7 weeks along and their due date is October 25th (their 2 year wedding anniversary). SO EXCITED for my sis and that our children will be able to grow up together!

SOOO... Onto March... I was awaken by a text last night from my friend Lis's sister, Sarah. Lis was at the hospital and was having an emergency c-section, while I know that was not was Lis wanted, whatever it takes to keep both Mom and baby safe. So Grace Lee Graeser was born at 12:33am and weighed 7lbs 14oz! I CAN NOT wait to go and meet her today. Lis, I love you and I'm so proud of you!!!

So much has gone on and much more to come with wedding showers (Nicole!!) and more baby showers! (Sahily, Deborah, MINE :)).

I am 23 weeks pregnant now, more than half way there! Feeling great! We picked the name for our little man, Aiden Christopher! Aiden means "Little fire" and Christopher means "bearing Christ within"... I LOVE the meanings!!! We have started the nursery and Daddy is doing an amazing job! I love feeling Aiden move inside me, its the most amazing thing ever!

So bottom line... God is GOOD and we are blessed beyond measure! More to come........

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Its 2010! Can't believe we have gone through another year ... 10 years ago we were ringing in the year of 2000, wondering all about this Y2K "stuff". I remember the night, we were at our house in the Tuscany neighborhood with our friends the Hope's over to celebrate. Dinner, fun, hanging out and then standing in front of the tv counting down as the big ball dropped wondering if at midnight everything would crash, tv off, computer off, lights off, etc... But no, nothing happened :) What a fun night! As I think about the next 10 years to come I will be 36 years old, Jason and I will have been married for almost 13 years, our soon to be child will be almost 10 years old (and hopefully that means we have another child at this point as well)...its amazing at what all will happen in 10 years and I hope God has some amazing stuff planned for the Stelly family!

I'm 16 weeks pregnant today... finally feeling fabulous and not so "yucky"... we find out in two weeks (Feb 3rd) if Baby Stelly is a boy or a girl. I can't wait to find out so I can start planning the nursery, deciding on names and preparing for our sweet baby. We went crib shopping over the weekend, so fun and so surreal that I am finally doing this after all the thoughts of having "kids one day"...well that day is here!

Our Christmas Holiday was awesome. Having all our family (on my Mom's side) over for Christmas Eve was a BLAST! We are growing and growing...it was Kate's first Christmas and she had a ball, next year there will be another little one. We had a special moment on Christmas Eve where the entire family gathered around to share what has gone on in the past year and share what their prayer request would be for 2010. We wrote everything down and sent out to everyone later and have all committed to praying for one another this year. On Christmas Eve in 2010 we will see what God has done. As my Dad said, it may sound cliche but a Family that Prays together, Stays together...and we are believing that for this year!

On Christmas Day we were at my parents house in the morning opening gifts and then as a Watson Family Tradition, WAFFLES for breakfast :) This year we made Waffilicious's (thanks to the wonderful recipe from House Blend Cafe). After hanging out in a our PJ's all day and watching movies, napping and eating leftovers from the night before...Jason and I headed to his parents house for a yummy Christmas Dinner!

So now... we move on with a new year. Which is FULL of excitement and I can't wait. I have baby showers, wedding showers, babies arriving, weddings to attend, and my baby shower and arrival of baby Stelly...there will not be a dull moment!

Well Happy New Year to everyone! I pray that 2010 is WONDERFUL!

Below are some pictures from Christmas...

Merry Christmas!!! I haven’t updated in awhile… things have been crazy! November 7th Jason and I discovered that I was pregnant and that we would be expecting our first little one! We were SOOO excited!!!! So between the excitement, sharing with others, beginning to feel the affects of the wonderful first trimester, I really haven’t been up to much these days, but eating and sleeping!

Telling our parents was one of the most exciting things ever (see video's below)... I couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces when we finally told them they were going to be grandparents...priceless! We had our first ultrasound on December 2 and that two was an amazing experience, to actually see your baby and see the heart beating was incredible. God is so good! When the Dr. was pointing out what she was seeing Baby Stelly decided to start moving around his/her arms and legs and moving them like crazy (almost like a little dance for us) I couldn’t stop smiling, it for sure brought tears to my eyes to see the life inside of me. Our due date is July 5, 2010. It’s going to be a FUN summer!

We have made it to the 12 week mark and are almost out of the first trimester! I am praying that I am blessed with a great 2nd trimester that most women experience. To have some energy back would be awesome!!! We should find out at the end of January or beginning of February what we are having and then we can start planning more and putting together the nursery. Jason jokes that the second I find out what it is, I will have paint bought the next day!

We will be enjoying this Christmas season with family of course. Christmas Eve is always a fun night at my parents with all my aunts, uncles and cousins! We usually spend the night at my parents and open up presents in the morning and make a DELICIOUS waffle breakfast. Later that day we will head to “Mama Stelly’s house” to spend the night with Jason’s family and enjoy a wonderfully cooked Christmas Dinner.

Looking forward to a very exciting New Year!

It's Positive!!!

Steph came over to take some pictures of us...

We framed the pictures in these frames that said "Grandkids" and that's how we told the Grandparents to be!

I love TJ's reaction in this video :)

Vacation to Jensen Beach & Jason's Birthday

We just enjoyed a wonderful time at Vistana's Beach Club in Jensen Beach, Fl. When I want to "get away" the best place for me is the beach. My sister went out with me on Friday night and we enjoyed hanging out together just the two of us. We had dinner at Mulligan's Bar & Grill that night and then came back and watched a movie on the fold out sofa :). Jason and Marcio came out Saturday night and Steph & I had a yummy dinner ready for them when they got there. We LOVE our men...and I LOVE that we all get along so great. Marcio and Steph left early in the morning on Sunday to get back home from church. My parents came out to spend time with us on Sunday and Monday (left on Tuesday). Jason and Dad went surfing on Sunday late afternoon, me and Mom loved watching them from the balcony... I love that they get along so great.

Monday was Jason's birthday... we had a nice breakfast...we were lazy by the beach... we had a nice walk... and then we opened presents and got ready and headed to Conchy Joe's for some seafood! I made a cake that morning and we had it that night for dessert. I love my husband and I'm very thankful for him!

We just enjoyed relaxing and being by the ocean. God is so amazing and you can't help but think of HIM when you look at the ocean/beach. HE is Near. I loved having dinners in with my hubby and waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves... I slept SO good when I was there. Totally refreshed!

Thank you God for family and your creation!!!

Here are some pics...

2009 - A New Year

Another year has past by and we are on to 2009!

We rang in the new year with some close friends and had a great time.  Jason and I really have an awesome time just "Doing Life Together" with our friends.  We ate dinner and played games all night, the boys kept wanting to play another round so they could try and beat the girls, we are just too good :)
